Lanzarote a Caballo

Lanzarote a Caballo y Camelo  is a great place to spend a couple of hours or much longer, depending on what you want to do. You can ride, take riding lessons, or younger visitors can be led on horses and ponies, as well as camels.

The centre has a small donkey sanctuary and visitors are offered the chance to sponsor an animal if they wish.

There is also a big playspace for children, including a large playground called the Alamo, bouncy castle and buggy rides. The restaurant and bar is large and specialises in barbeques.

A popular venue with locals for car boot sales and auctions, Lanzarote a Caballo is a great multi purpose venue and a good day out.

Prices depend on activities, but an hour's excursion on horseback costs 40 euros, and on camel back costs 45 euros

Address: Lanzarote a Caballo, Ctra Arrecife-Yaiza, km 17.  The park is highly visible from the main LZ-2, between Macher and Yaiza.  The access road is the right turn off the roundabout immediately below the park.

We took the kids here in December, and what a blast it was! The camels and horses were great, and the staff really helpful and friendly. Kids got home completely exhausted!
