The centre has a small donkey sanctuary and visitors are offered the chance to sponsor an animal if they wish.

The space is ideal for kids. There is a large playground called the Alamo, bouncy castle and buggy rides can be organised for parties. The restaurant and bar is large and specialises in barbeques.

Opening hours 9.30 am to 5.30 pm.

The connection between Texas and Lanzarote is not as odd as you might expect. In the 1700s many canarians emigrated to the states and a group of Lanzoroteans created the town of San Antonio in Texas.

Lanzarote's little slice of Texas offers a great day out for families, and some great nights out too.

During the day you can enjoy a variety of shows including parrots, birds of prey, sealions and aligators.   However the list of animals to visit is far greater and includes wild cats, reptiles, bison and many more.
On site facilities include a restaurant and picnic areas.

There are discounts for residents,  children's parties are catered for, and there are evening shows as well.
