Naturist Beaches in Lanzarote

For those that wish to lose all their inhibitions, or at least clothes, there are a number of naturist beaches in Lanzarote.  By naturist beaches, we really mean beaches where any clothes are optional.  Topless sunbathing is generally allowed in Lanzarote, especially on beaches.

Specialist naturist beaches in Lanzarote include:

Charco del Palo (Mala) – more than just the beach, this is more of a secluded naturist village, but with a beautiful stretch of coast in the north west of Lanzarote. The famous Jardin de Cactus (Cactus Garden) of Guatiza is also close by, but please note nudity is not recommended there! (or allowed).

Costa Papagayo, near Playa Blanca (go to the left hand/eastern side beaches after leaving your car in the central cliff area at Papagayo).

Other secluded beaches can be found at many parts of the island where its probably fine to "go buff", and the best advice is to just use your discretion, and be prepared to cover up at short notice.
